This Privacy Policy explains how Hair Sim AI ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our iOS application ("App").
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We ask you to upload up to three scalp photos (front, back, side views). These photos are used exclusively to generate your AI hair loss analysis and simulation images. Photos are transmitted securely to our AI processing services and stored temporarily to produce your report. We do not use your photos for advertising, marketing, or model training without explicit consent.
The App uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication. You are assigned a random, anonymous user ID when you first open the App. No name, email address, phone number, or other personally identifying information is required or collected.
We store the following data associated with your anonymous user ID in Firebase Firestore:
This data is used solely to enforce subscription limits and provide your service.
Subscription purchases are handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not collect, store, or process your payment card details. Purchase and subscription status is managed by RevenueCat, which receives anonymized transaction data from Apple. RevenueCat may store your anonymous App Store receipt and subscription state. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
We may collect basic, non-identifiable technical data such as device type, iOS version, and crash logs through Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics. This data cannot be used to personally identify you.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
Used for anonymous authentication, cloud database (Firestore), file storage, and cloud functions.
Used to manage in-app subscriptions and purchase validation.
Used to run AI models for hair analysis (Google Gemini) and simulation image generation. Scalp photos are transmitted to Wiro's servers for processing. Results are returned and stored in your Firestore account.
Your data is stored in Google Firebase infrastructure (us-central1 region). Firebase uses industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Photos uploaded for analysis are stored in Firebase Storage. We retain photos for as long as your analysis record exists. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

We retain your anonymous account data and analysis records for as long as your account is active. Since the App uses anonymous authentication, if you uninstall the App and reinstall it, a new anonymous account is created and previous data is not accessible.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the App, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Because the App uses anonymous authentication, your data is linked only to your random device ID. Contact us with your anonymous user ID (visible in app settings if provided) to exercise these rights.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
